We took a trip to Utah a couple of months ago to visit some of our good friends, go to a wedding, and celebrate my birthday. Did you know the first trip Chris and I ever took together was a road trip to Utah! It’s a long drive.. I highly suggest flying ๐Ÿ™‚

Utah is always a good time, especially in the winter because it’s so different from AZ. I was hoping for some snow but didn’t get lucky enough. However I did get to whip out some heavy duty winter coats. I paired them with this pretty little set from Mala Prayer! I love the neutrality of the necklace and the texture in the bracelet. The whole trip I wore them with different outfits — they’re so universal. More importantly, I love the story they tell. Check out the meaning behind the beads here. Now that winter has caught up to the desert (hello 27 degree weatherย ๐Ÿ‘‹), I can re-create this outfit all the time!

MY FAVORITE ACTIVITIES WE DID IN THE SALT LAKE AREA:

Christmas Tree shopping in cute little Lehi
“Salt Lake City is for Lovers” neon sign at The Gateway (across from the movie theater!)
Dinner, shopping and ice skating at City Creek Center
Explore the Little America hotel (gorgeous at Christmas!)
Salt Lake City Temple lights
Drive to Park Cityย ๐Ÿ˜
