On The Road Again

Over Labor Day we took a road trip to visit my childhood best friend’s little brother who goes to school at New Mexico State University. It was a trip that we had been wanting to do for a long time and was well worth the wait! I remember visiting these same sand dunes as a  kid and just haaaating having to get back in the car all dusty and sandy. This time, it was the highlight of the trip! Such interesting natural history– and it doesn’t hurt that it’s stunning to look at . Las Cruces, New Mexico is actually super similar to Arizona, just add in some chili peppers 🙂 But to be honest, the best part about this trip (and most trips) are the people who share the memories.

If you’re heading that way, you have to drive over and spend some hours at the white sand dunes and grab a milkshake at Caliche’s Frozen Custard!
