As someone who loves travel, I was anxious to squeeze in one last trip before the little prince makes his arrival. Luckily we were able to combine visiting my Auntie Trini in Florida with a quick babymoon. If you’re new to pregnancy jargon, a babymoon is a vacation for soon-to-be moms and dads. We started off with a few days in Estero, Florida with my great Auntie Trini, and spent some great quality time with her and a few cousins who live in Naples. Lots of going to the movies and going out to eat, two of my favorite things that I inherited from my auntie.

We then took a ferry from Ft. Meyers Beach to Key West, Florida to start the babymoon. It has been years since I have been to Key West, but that quirky, little island was just how I remembered it. While in Key West, we did nothing but relax, swim, take walks, eat, and sleep! I think we went to bed every night before 9 pm–This pregnancy thing is exhausting 😉 We stayed at the Southern Most Beach Resort and really liked it there.  I am so glad Chris and I got this time to be together before our lives are forever changed. The beach is good for the soul!
